Steven Hamburg is EDF’s public voice for its commitment to science-based advocacy and is responsible for the scientific integrity of EDF’s positions and programs. His training and research specialty is ecosystem ecology, with a focus on forests. He would present on "Role of forests and bio-energy in a low-C economy.”

 

2. Sanjay K. Nepal, PhD
Dr. Sanjay Nepal is an expert on mountain ecotourism. He is currently based in the Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences in Texas A&M University, College Station. He will speak on “Ecotourism and Climate Change: An Action-oriented Strategy for the Mountains.”

3. Adam J. Daigneault, PhD
His forte is macro-economic mitigation potential in forest sector or global mitigation potential assessment in forest sector. He is a forestry expert at US EPA in Washington. Presently, he is an environmental Fellow at the Deshpande Foundation, Deshpande Center for Social Entrepreneurship, BVB College of Engineering, Hubli, Karnataka. His presentation topic is: "Role of Global Forests in Climate Change Mitigation." 

4. Prof. N.H. Ravindranath
Dr. Ravindranath is a leading light on climate change studies in India. He is based as an associate faculty at the Centre for Ecological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru - 560 012, Karnataka, India

5. Dr. Zhiliang Zhu 
He is with the U.S. Geological Survey and would present “U.S. Geological Survey Methodology for Assessing and Monitoring Ecological Carbon Sequestration”.
